Jessica C. Perks, DVM

Dr. Perks is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has enjoyed her role as a general practitioner, serving the needs of her canine & feline patients since 1999.  She purchased Acton Veterinary Clinic in 2008 continues to serve Acton and the surrounding communities by offering preventive and wellness care, managing acute and chronic illnesses, dental care, and a wide variety of soft tissue surgeries.  Dr. Perks' special interests include dermatology and internal medicine and she thoroughly enjoys helping her clients celebrate and preserve the unique human-animal bond that we share with our pets.  Dr. Perks has been supported on her veterinary journey by her husband and daughter as well as her beloved dogs.  Her dog "Reeses" (pictured here) is a rescue who fancies sneaking into the practice and being the official "greeter".  Her other dog, Millie (photo coming!) is also a rescue whose high energy and love for tennis balls is second to none.  Dr. Perks loves spending time with her husband and daughter and enjoys landscaping, cycling, hiking, and playing the violin.  She is also a volunteer for the Sanford-Springvale YMCA, and considers this her second home as a long time swim-parent.
